On the day that Peter Mandelson visits Cardiff, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Economy Minister, Jenny Randerson AM has called on the Business Secretary to challenge his government to reverse it's poor handling of the economy and prevent further rapid contraction of the Welsh Private Sector.
Jenny Randerson said: "Peter Mandelson has always been regarded as the master of spin, but even he can't manage to hide the horrific state of the economy in Wales. This week, figures showed the Welsh private sector Is contracting faster than the UK average and it is his Government which is responsible for that.
"As someone with the experience and political clout he has, he can challenge the poor approach of his party and help turn things around. I hope he will realise today that Welsh businesses need urgent help and a new approach to the economy.
